Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, February 20, 2017 – In a move that reaffirms its position as a leading brand of large venue visual display products, Vivitek has announced that it will launch two new large venue laser projectors, the DK8500Z and the DU8190Z, adding to its already comprehensive portfolio. Offering DLP® technology with BrilliantColor™ for a vibrant and rich picture quality, they follow the recent launch of the DU7090Z laser projector, ensuring that Vivitek has the most complete range of projectors for large venue environments and applications.
Both the DK8500Z and DU8190Z feature powerful laser light sources which offer up to 20,000 hours of operation, making them ideal for venues that need power and positioning flexibility combined with durability and ease of use. Laser light sources do not require lamp changes, which minimises maintenance, while their mercury-free designs ensures that they are environmentally friendly solutions.
Suitable for large applications, the DK8500Z offers exceptional picture clarity in 4K/UHD resolution and 7500 ANSI Lumens brightness. The DU8190Z meanwhile is a WUXGA laser light source projector with a strong performance of 10,000 ANSI Lumens brightness.
Designed for easy installation, both projectors offer motorized lens shift and Lens Position Memory function. Installation flexibility is ensured with 8 optional lenses ranging from 0.38:1 to 5.31-8.26:1 throw ratio. With built-in edge-blending, warping and portrait mode projection with 360-degrees, they are truly versatile projectors, designed for a variety of applications.
In addition to the new laser projectors, at ISE 2017 Vivitek showcased a new dual lamp projector, the DU6771. The dual-lamp technology, interchangeable lenses and advanced display technologies ensure a bright, high definition digital image with full colour saturation.
Intended for large meeting rooms where brightness and installation flexibility is a key consideration, the DU6771 offers a high brightness of 6,500 ANSI Lumens and WUXGA resolution with 3,000:1 contrast ratio clear and sharp images.
The motorized zoom, focus and lens shift features allow for easy adjustment and movement. Furthermore image adjustment is made easier with 4-corner and keystone corrections. HDBaseT allows for digital image and control signals to be sent up to 100m over one single network cable, making installations cost efficient and straightforward.

Pricing and availability:
The DU6771 will be launched in February 2017. The list price is £3,690 (excluding VAT). The DK8500Z and the DU8190Z will be launched in 2017 Q2.
