Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, June 14, 2012 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative visual presentation products, announced today the launch of the new Vivitek D5280U, a high resolution projector with lens shift and multiple lens options. Offering WUXGA resolution and bright, detailed image quality, the D5280U is a user-friendly and versatile projector that delivers the flawless performance required for large venue applications.
The D5280U offers a range of features that make it the ideal projector choice for the professional installation market. The high WUXGA image resolution delivers excellent fidelity and large screen area for simultaneous display of video conferencing, presentations, and display of charts and graphs. The unit also offers a 4500 lumen output as well as horizontal and vertical lens shift, central lens position and a comprehensive range of connectivity options. Furthermore, with DLP® and Brilliant Color ™ technology onboard, the D5280U offers the level of performance and reliability demanded by the professional installation market.

The Vivitek 5000 Series also includes the D5180HD and D5185HD, with Full-HD resolution, which were both launched at ISE 2012. The D5185HD has edge blending functionality embedded to enable joining up to three D5185HD projectors to make an extremely wide or high and seamless projected image at a fraction of the normal cost involved. The D5185HD includes software inside which blends and warps multiple projectors into a seamless multi-megapixel Windows desktop. With the edgeblending functionality embedded in the projector software, additional hardware is not needed and cost can be significantly reduced for multi-projector displays. The Vivitek D5180HD and D5185HD offer full lens shift, convenient central lens position, interchangeable lens and extensive multimedia I/O connections to make it the ideal solution for large venue.

Pricing and Availability
The Vivitek D5280U will be available from mid July 2012 and will be priced at € 3.900. The D5180HD
and D5185HD projectors are priced respectively at €2800 and €3900 (excluding VAT) and are available July 2012.
All projectors have three years warranty and one year or a maximum of 1,000 hours of life warranty (whichever comes first).
