Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, January 30, 2012 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative visual presentation products, announced today the introduction of the new Vivitek D5180HD and D5185HD at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) tradeshow in Amsterdam. Both projectors, issued from the D5000 series, are ideally suited to large venue installations and deliver up to 4200 lumens of brightness. In addition to a native 1080p resolution and multiple lens options, these models have convenient additional features such wireless remote control support for multiple projector installation and embedded edge blending in the D5185HD.
The Vivitek D5180HD and D5185HD are the best solution to deliver highest standards in video applications. The D5185HD has edge blending functionality embedded to enable joining up to three D5185HD projectors to make an extremely large and seamless projected image at a fraction of the normal cost involved. The D5185HD includes software inside which blends and warps multiple projectors into a seamless multi-megapixel Windows desktop. This embedded edge blending function does not require a dedicated technician, a quick set up process enables smooth transitions between overlapping image edges as well as rectifies differences in brightness in order to create a homogeneous overall display. The Vivitek D5180HD and D5185HD offer full lens shift, convenient central lens position, interchangeable lens and extensive multimedia I/O connections to make it the ideal solution for large venue.

Pricing and Availability
The Vivitek D5180HD and D5185HD projectors will be available from April 2012 and will be priced
respectively at €3900 and €5000 (excluding VAT). The projector will have three years warranty and one
year or a maximum of 1,000 hours of life warranty (whichever comes first).
