27 July 2021, Hoofddorp, the Netherlands - As large venues start opening their doors and welcoming back visitors and guests, Vivitek - a leading provider of visual presentation and collaboration solutions - has announced the new D6000Z Series of WUXGA Large Venue Laser Projectors. Comprising the DU6198Z and the DU6298Z, the versatile projectors - with a single chip DLP and laser light source technology – have been designed to deliver a brightness of respectively 8500 and 10,000 ANSI Lumens, outstanding picture quality and high flexibility for installation in any venue. Benefitting from Vivitek’s exceptional design know-how and ability to integrate complex key components, the D6000Z Series delivers high performance, reliability, environmental efficiency, excellent picture uniformity and a long life, thanks in part due to the projectors’ optimised air flow.
High performance images at all times
With Vivitek’s next-generation colour technology, multiple modes, hardware features and High Dynamic Range (HDR10) support, D6000Z Series users can be assured of rich, vibrant and precise colours that help create brilliant, accurate, high contrast, full spectrum images. A Phosphor Wheel and Colour Wheel further help to create a superb impression, while the 3,000,000:1 Dynamic contrast Ratio ensures that no details are lost. A user-controlled Colour Manager means that the D6000Z Series can be calibrated to suit the content being displayed, as it covers 95% of the colour gamut of Rec.709, to provide eye-catching colours. It is also available with nine motorized lenses with Lens Positioning Memory (LPS) to cater for any installation requirement, along with the ability to display the image in portrait mode and ability to project from any angle in 360-degree projection operation and projection design for the most creative installations. Finally, a viewing range of 32.1”~ 500” prevents any image distortion. This means the D6000Z Series delivers an optimum picture performance for use in any large venue environments.
Keeping users in control
Further aiding the user’s control of the projector, is Vivitek’s PJ-Control software. It provides them with over-the-network control over viewing options, settings, scheduling and adjusting display features. For added convenience, it also enables users to manage multiple projectors over a network, and they can also create groups and control the projectors simultaneously. It provides them with guidance over the projectors’ status and offers simple setup; projectors in the same network are automatically found and displayed, while easy navigation combined with an intuitive design makes for a user-friendly user experience.
Thanks to the D6000Z Series being Crestron® RoomView certified, it ensures users benefit from easy communication and remote control over an IT network. With RoomView’s Express management software, the projector can be controlled, automated and monitored for status and usage to make its use simple and easy for even the most inexperienced operator. Building on its simplicity, is its Quick Auto Search functionality. The Quick Auto Search Filtering helps to rapidly locate the input signal source (HDMI, VGA) within three seconds.
Support for HDBaseT™
The D6000Z Series has been designed to support the HDBaseT™ interface for distribution of HD video and digital audio content over standard CAT5e/6 LAN cable; up to 100M from source with low cost cabling. It also offers support for a UHD-4K signal. Combined, these feature ensure that it is highly flexible and versatile enough to meet the installation requirements of any venue.
Wireless Collaboration & Digital Signage made easy
In a bid to banish unnecessary cables, optimise the set-up process and simplify connectivity and collaboration between the D6000Z Series and other devices, it comes equipped with Power USB-A ports - which enable the connection of HDMI based multimedia - or wireless collaboration solutions, like Vivitek’s popular NovoConnect (NC-X300) or Digital Signage NovoDS Series (NovoDS-4K).
Safe and secure
Naturally, Vivitek has made security a key feature of the D6000Z Series. Both models support “Over Temperature” protection for a safe operation. Naturally, it comes as standard with a Keypad lock, a security lock and a robust Kensington®Security Lock, through which anti-theft cables can be secured.
Eco friendly without compromise
With the environment at the heart of customers’ buying considerations these days, the D6000Z Series comes complete with a number of settings designed to save energy. These range from a No Signal Power Off mode, to a Low Power Mode and a Sleep Timer.
Long-life operation
Like all Vivitek projectors, the D6000Z Series has been designed for a long life, offering up to 30,000hrs of operation. Its longevity has been assured by the Natural Air-Cooling System which not only increases the stability of thermal dissipation but also - in conjunction with the High Standard Anti-Dust compliance (IP5X) thanks to its sealed optical engine and compliance with IP code (Ingress Protection Code) - offers users an extended projector life and low maintenance costs.
