With its bright high performance, the new Vivitek D863 is the perfect solution
Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, September 20, 2012 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative visual presentation products, today introduces the Vivitek D863, ideally suited for office and education environments. In addition to its 3D capabilities, this new digital projector features an embedded media player to easily play Microsoft Office documents, photos, videos and audio files without being connected to a PC.
In addition to its native XGA resolution, the Vivitek D863 provides 3,000 ANSI lumens of brightness with a high contrast ratio of 15,000:1. This projector ensures that all the images are displayed with sharp and dazzling colours, also thanks to the integrated DLP® and BrilliantColor™ technologies from Texas Instruments. Moreover, this model is 3D Ready via DLP Link.
Managed through a PC with a USB or network connection (RJ45), the Vivitek D863 proposes also to wirelessly display contents from a PC/Mac, tablet or smart phone by connecting a WiFi dongle. The Vivitek D863 offers the essential connectivity options, including HDMI, VGA and USB ports to project excellent quality images for large screens, as well as a build-in 10W loudspeaker to fully enjoy multimedia applications. It is equipped with a long lamp life of 6,000 hours in standard mode and for facilitating the daily use, its optical engine is sealed to minimise effect of smoke and dust.

Pricing
The Vivitek D863 is available immediately through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors at a price of 750 euros (excluding VAT). The D863 has three years warranty and one year or a maximum of 1,000 hours of lamp warranty (whichever comes first). For education Vivitek offers a 5 year warranty and 3 years lamp warranty or 2000h whatever comes first.
