Vivitek, a leading brand of visual display products, is today, 13 April 2015, introducing an extended range of multimedia projectors, with the addition of the DX813 and DW814 to the D8 Series. With impressive brightness and up to 15,000:1 contrast ratio, the DX813/DW814 projects a superb image that will make any projection or presentation standout from the crowd.
The DX813 features a native XGA resolution and an energy efficient lamp lasting up to 7,000 hours (in dynamic eco mode). While the DW814 offers a WXGA resolution with a maximum of up to WUXGA (1920x1200). The projectors are energy efficient and environmentally friendly both with low power consumption saving modes, energy efficient long life lamps, innovative optical and cooling designs and compliance with leading environmental management standards.

The DX813/DW814 is audio ready with an internal audio speaker and plenty of audio-in/out ports for convenient connection to a variety of external a/v devices. With a dedicated microphone input connection, an external microphone allows the presenters voice to be amplified for larger environments or ease of hearing. The projectors boast an advanced digital 2x zoom configuration that allows for greater flexibility in positioning the projector. Plus the increased distance provides greater positioning flexibility. With pre-set projection modes, the DX813/DW814 allows users to select one of the eight available image display modes (Presentation, Movie, Bright, SRGB, Game, TV, Blackboard, User Defined) to find the most suitable projection display.
The versatile 3D compatible projectors keep users in touch with the latest 3D gaming and multimedia content and are compatible with DLP® Link™ and HDMI 1.4b Blu-Ray support for dazzling and realistic life-like images.
The DX813/DW814 projector is equipped with RJ45/RS-232c connections for integration and system network administration and integrated network monitoring and management solutions, including Crestron® RoomView™, Extron, AMX SSDP and Telnet.

The DX813 and DW814 will be available from April 2015. The recommended list price is £429 (ex. VAT) for the DX813 and £459 (ex. VAT) for the DW814.
