With its sleek design, the Vivitek Qumi Q7 Plus ultraportable projector and the Qumi Q4 pocket projector are designed and styled to match just about any portable digital lifestyle device. The Qumi projectors display digital content from all multimedia devices to immediately transform any office space or living room into a perfect projection space with a friendly visual experience of up to 107’’ (only Q7 plus) of diagonal screen.
The full Qumi Series is now composed of 4 models. The Qumi Q4 and Q5 pocket projectors which answer to the mobility needs of the business traveler and personal user, and the Qumi Q7 Plus and Q7 Lite personal projectors, which are the perfect business companion. All models offer impressive brightness and contrast ratio, whereas the LED light source gives up to 30,000 hours of lifetime. To complete the user experience, the Qumi Series (excluding Q4) offer a new intuitive mobile remote control app, the Vivitek Mobile Remote, specifically designed to turn any smartphones and multimedia tablets into a Qumi remote in order to control the settings such as display mode, brightness, contrast, aspect ratio, volume or to select between available input sources. With a weight of 1.4 kg, the Qumi Q7 Plus delivers 1000 ANSI lumens of brightness – and is also available with 700 ANSI lumens for the Qumi Q7 Lite - together with a 30,000:1 contrast ratio. The Qumi Q4 (460 grams) and Q5 (490 grams) deliver 500 ANSI lumens of brightness with a contrast ratio of 30,000:1. The four models benefit of a LED light source that gives them up to 30,000 hours of operation time, enough to enjoy more than 10,000 movies or to project years of presentations and pictures.
In addition to the Texas Instruments DLP® and BrilliantColor™ technologies ensuring dazzling images, the Qumi Q7 Plus, Q7 Lite and Q5 projectors also include an embedded Web browser to surf on Internet and offer Wi-Fi capabilities via an optional USB dongle. These Qumi models allow Direct 3D projection via the HDMI port as well as the 2D to 3D conversion (except Q5), they can natively display Microsoft® Office and Adobe™ PDF documents directly from a USB stick, provide MHL support to connect directly tablets and smartphones, include a 4GB on-board memory and propose a complete set of input and output connection options, including HDMI and USB ports.
Availability
The new Qumi Q4 and the Qumi Q7 Plus will be available by the end of November 2014 and Q7 Lite from mid-December. Qumi Q7 Plus, Q7 Lite and Qumi Q5 benefit of a warranty of 3 years, and Qumi Q4 is offered with a 2 year warranty.
